Discover the incredible diversities of the tiny nation of Vanuatu; its geography and it's culture bestowing on travellers to this exotic destination a multitude of sightseeing options. All around each and every stunning island is the backdrop of the glistening South Seas and each outer island offers unique culture and attractions richly rewarding the effort of the journey.

On Efate head for the markets at Port Vila harbour side, then after a relax at a street café, try the excellent National Museum of Vanuatu. Take time to visit some of the smaller offshore islands at least, such as Hideaway just out of Port Vila. There you are in a marine reserve, so take to the water and view the brilliant corals whilst depositing a postcard at the world's only Underwater Post Office! Other offshore islands provide opportunities for snorkelling, diving, turtle feeding, fishing and village visits. Head a short distance further beyond Hideaway to experience the Mele Cascades waterfalls, the Secret Gardens, horse riding, abseiling and cultural village visits.

Tanna - want a truly awesome experience that should not be missed? Then spend a night on Tanna for a "once in a lifetime" thrill taking the tour to Mt Yasur, and walk the rim of an active volcano whilst it belches fire and ash. Tanna also boasts a village with a home in a giant banyan tree, waterfalls, black sand beaches, horse riding and visits to fascinating ancient cult villages.
Malekula has its unique Big Nambas and Small Nambas villages, a cannibal site and opportunities for relaxation and swimming. Ambrym, ‘the Black Island' with its awe-inspiring twin volcanoes, is considered the black magic centre of Vanuatu, and offers many opportunities for experienced trekkers between villages and to see the volcanoes up close. Ambrym's Custom Festival "Back to my Roots" each August showcases its amazing traditional magic and vibrant rituals. Wood carvings are some of the best in the South Pacific.

Espiritu Santo, the ‘green island' and largest in the country, is unspoilt and popular for snorkelling, diving and its sensational champagne beach. Santo's most famous World War attraction is the 22,000 ton luxury liner turned troopship SS "President Coolidge" which sank in 1942 and is now a magnet for divers from all over the world. The Coolidge offers the world's largest accessible wreck diving and there are many other wreck and reef dives to excite even the most experienced divers. Additionally there are fascinating sites such as Million Dollar Point; where the Americans dumped all their hardware into the ocean after the war; crashed B17 bombers; the destroyer USS "Tucker"
Pentecost - in April/May the astounding Nagol ritual or ‘land diving' (said to be the forerunner of bungee jumping) takes place. This timeless ritual celebrates the Yam harvest - the bravery of the divers has to be seen to be believed!
