No. 9 Quality RowNo.9 was designed and built during the convict period (c.1839-1840) as one of two first class officers quarters.Today, No.9 is the focal point from which the Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area (KAVHA) Management Board operate their research and interpretive programs. The house offers the not to be missed house specialty Norfolkshire Tea enjoyed on the front verandah overlooking the heritage precinct, down town Kingston. At night, the house hosts themed Ghost Dinners where history and tales of the darker side of convict settlement combine with good hearty food in the spooky ambience of the annex and courtyard. The dinner concludes with a guided ghostly walk amongst the second settlement ruins. |
