Beachcomber Lodge is owned by the Payten family, sixth generation descendants of the first settlers over to call beautiful Lord Howe Island home. Beachcomber Lodge is located on the north eastern side of the island, set on a five hectare property and it part of one of the originally restored homesteads.

Nestled away, but not too far from local cafes, shops, and attractions, stay at Beachcomber Lodge for an enjoyable, relaxing and comfortable island getaway. Our family has had the opportunity of sharing our home with people from around the world, of which many returning regularly.

Beachcomber Lodge is located on the north eastern side of the island, set on a five hectare property, and is part of one of the originally restored homesteads. After only a short stroll you will find yourself at Ned's Beach (voted Australia's cleanest beach in 2005), famous for its fish feeding, snorkelling and sometimes surfing attractions.

All rooms are self contained, and free unlimited Wi-Fi is available for those who bring their own laptop. Also, Beachcomber Lodge owns a 7.5 metre Ocean Cylinder ‘Wolfe’ used for fishing and sightseeing.
